Meet The Team

Alex Endrich

With two daughters of his own, Alex is a true father figure at The Playhouse and holds a number of vital roles. He is a fantastic cook and thus our resident chef, one of the Founders, an outstanding Qualified Teacher (PGCE) and all round favourite.

With 10 plus years of teaching experience and having had a leadership role at his last school, Alex is passionate about ensuring that all children thrive and follow a curriculum that gives them opportunities to play, create, explore and develop a true love of learning. Alex has had a huge hand in creating a fantastic curriculum for our little ones to follow from tiny tots to our pre-schoolers.

Sophie Grimshaw

With 4+ years working in childcare and a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, Sophie is an absolute star with the kids and always knows how to engage them – whether it be through our planned activities or free play fun!

Sophie’s tuff trays skills are fantastic and she always engages them with entertaining games where they can get their hands dirty and have a brilliant time doing so. A fan of messy play, arts and crafts and all things outdoors, Sophie is a firm favourite with the kids!

Sofia Garcia

A new addition to the team – Sofia holds a level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education and is currently studying for her level 3 and hopes to become a teacher in the future.

Sofia only works part time, yet has built some lovely relationships with the children in our care – she is kind, empathetic and genuinely cares about the children’s well-being; always ensuring they are ok and having a nice time. Sofia speaks English and Spanish and enjoys leading circle time with some Spanish reading and songs too!
